Meet Dr. Coury

Dr. Luke Coury grew up in the countryside just outside of Roanoke, Virginia. He obtained both his undergraduate degree and Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. 

Following dental school, Dr. Coury pursued a career in oral and maxillofacial surgery in Baltimore at the University of Maryland. Here, he completed an intern year in both OMFS and general surgery along with a dual degree residency in OMFS, obtaining his medical degree during these years. He has a special interest in orthognathic surgery and benign dental pathology in addition to dentoalveolar and implant surgery. 

Dr. Coury takes pride in making connections with his patients. He aims to make every patient comfortable in the dental chair, from planning to operating, regardless of complexity of the need. 

In his free time, Dr. Coury enjoys spending time with his wife, Kristin and his family which currently includes his dogs, Luna and Meera, and a handful of chickens. His hobbies including woodworking, beer and wine making, and traveling.
